Botulinum Toxin A
Botulinum toxin A is a popular aesthetic treatment. And it’s the most performed minimally invasive cosmetic procedure in North America. After it’s injected into the muscles, the neurotoxin affects the nerves attached to muscles, disrupting the contraction that causes wrinkles. While the effects are temporary, a smoother, more refreshed-looking expression is achieved.
At New Freedom Family Medicine, we’ve partnered with The Well Infusion Lounge to bring you Allergan’s (now AbbVie) brand Botox. Even though the procedure only takes a few minutes, the effects will last 3 to 6 months. Botulinum toxin A is most commonly used for smoothing wrinkles:
- Of the forehead
- Between the eyes (glabellar region)
- Around the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet)
It can also be used to treat severe underarm sweating, chronic migraines, overactive bladder, and jaw pain.
There are several FDA-approved filler products. At New Freedom Family Medicine, we’ve partnered with The Well Infusion Lounge to bring you hyaluronic acid (HA) based fillers by Allergan (now AbbVie). Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the skin to rejuvenate an aging appearance.
Some of the most common uses for fillers include:
- Fill acne scars
- Add shape and volume to the lips
- Smooth laugh lines and wrinkles
- Rejuvenate aging hands
- Sculpt the jaw and chin
Cryo-Skin Slimming, Toning, Lymphatic Drainage
Sometimes diet and exercise just aren’t enough to get a toned, more youthful-looking body. Cryo-skin is a non-invasive technology that freezes and destroys fat cells, reducing fat instantly. Patients leave feeling revived and rejuvenated.
We’ve partnered with The Well Infusion Lounge to offer patients this innovative technology.
- Cryo-Skin Sliming – is typically used for slimming the stomach, thighs, and arms
- Cryo-Skin Toning – to improve microcirculation and boost collagen production which helps eliminate cellulite and signs of aging
- Cryo-Skin Lymphatic Drainage – lymphatic massage combined with our cryo-skin slimming treatment can reduce the appearance of cellulite
- Cryo-Skin Facial – for increasing collagen production which decreases the signs of aging and improving skin elasticity (excellent for sagging skin)
Note that cryo-skin treatments come in single or multi-treatment packs.
The plasma rich protein (PRP) facial combines plasma and platelets from your blood with microneedling technique. First, your blood is drawn and spun down to extract the plasma and platelets. Then, microneedling is performed by creating a series of tiny punctures with sterile needles. Lastly, the PRP from your blood is massaged into your skin to stimulate collagen growth, the main building block for healthy skin, hair, bones, and more.
With this procedure, we can treat any part of the face or neck. Some of the benefits over time include:
